ABOUT THE KREIOS: Extrema Ratio has added another machete to its arsenal of high performance machetes. The KREIOS joins the KS Kukri and KH Kukri. The KREIOS has the input of Italian Master Instructor, Daniela Dal Canto. Daniela Dal Canto of the FISSS (Italian Federation of Survival Spoto and Experimental), was active in the designing of the KREIOS and worked closely with Extrema Ratio in the development of this special machete.

The Extrema Ratio KREIOS was designed and developed to provide you with a versatile, multi-tasking tool. It has extraordinary cutting capabilities. You can take care of very heavy tasks such as felling trees, preparing firewood, and clearing dense brush. Plus the KREIOS is sturdy enough for you to use it for batoning.

Has the classic Testudo (black) finish that is very durable and non-reflective.

BLADE: Cutting edge for the KREIOS is 11.38 inches long (cm 28.91) with one lower guard with a lanyard hole. A specially designed blade shape gives you more power for major cutting. The KREIOS has a long, strong, thick spine the full length of the blade that is designed for batoning.

HANDLE: KREIOS's ergonomic handle is designed so you can use a two-handed grip if needed for more powerful blows. The handle is slightly indented near the blade allowing the blade's spine to be exposed. More room for your hands. Gives you greater control and permits more pressure. Removable handle for maintenance. Has a lanyard hole (with a lanyard included) toward the end of the sturdy handle.

SHEATH: Upper section of the sheath can be unsnapped and removed so your KREIOS handle is fully exposed. (However, there is still a strap with snaps holding your KREIOS in the sheath.) The sheath is made of Cordura and rigid polymer. It is MOLLE compatible. An optional-use shoulder strap is included. If used, this allows you to carry the machete more securely.
