ABOUT THE SETHLANS: Looking for a compact fixed blade that efficiently handles a variety of situations? This is it!

Use it for survival, camping, wilderness, EDC, plus as a backup knife. It is a smaller but similar version of Extrema Ratio's survival knife, the Selvans. It was created with input from Daniele Dal Canto, Master Advanced Instructor for the Italian Federation of Sports and Experimental Survival organization. Well balanced. Strong. Versatile.

BLADE: This stone washed blade is produced with a steel that has been successfully used over 20 years. This steel has proven to be resistant to oxidation and maintains a good edge. Has thumb jimping for control and pressure. The SETHLANS blade thickness varies, and according to Extrema Ratio, “...to improve cutting skills.”

HANDLE: The SETHLANS has G10 grips. G10 is a made of multiple layers of plastic fiberglass mesh cloth impregnated with an epoxy resin binder. Has the distinctive Extrema Ratio handle shape. Since the SETHLANS has a thick, full tang, creative owners can remove the grips and customize the knife with paracord.*

SHEATH: The sheath is streamlined and made of Kydex. It is adjustable to fit either right or left handed users. (It is set up for right hand use.) The SETHLANS sheath is unusual in that it is equipped with a small MOLLE system pouch holding a two-sided sharpening stone. Plus the sheath has a fire steel attached.

*G10 grips don't shrink or swell when exposed to either high or low temperatures. Plus they are relatively lightweight but difficult to break.

***The stone washed blade is made with N690 cobalt stainless steel; a high performance steel with excellent cutting and sharpening characteristics. This steel is also used in the butchering industry and to make surgical instrument.
