ABOUT THE ONTOS: “ONTOS” – translated from Greek as “The Thing”. ONTOS  was developed to satisfy a request from Extrema Ratio customers wanting a quality, roust survival knife. Extrema Ratio listened and then created the ONTOS .  The ONTOS is excels when you need a strong knife suited for wilderness survival, hunting and camping.

BLADE: The blade has a durable coating that protects it from corrosion and makes it reflection proof. It has a specially designed serrated section on the upper part of the blade. Has a full tang and it terminates in an extension that provides a generous lanyard hole as well as acting as a window breaker or hammer. It is big, thick, and heavy, giving you the power you need for survival type activities.

HANDLE: The handle on the ONTOS  is made of Forprene and ergonomically designed to give you an excellent grip. Very lightly textured and has a “rubbery” feel to it.

SHEATH: The Extrema Ratio ONTOS  has a MOLLE compatible sheath. It is made of high-quality reinforced nylon. The sheath also has a thigh strap to provide stability.
