This is Extrema Ratio’s version of the famous, and widely used Kukri. Legends and myths are wrapped around the Kukri and it has existed in similar forms throughout centuries.
The Kukri is the national working tool of Nepal where it is used primarily for chores such as cutting undergrowth, wood cutting, plus hunting and skinning. The Kukri spread beyond Nepal to other parts of the world where a substantial blade is demanded. The KS KUKRI's length, shape, and weight make it a formidable blade capable of performing heavy duty outdoor tasks.
The Extrema Ratio KS KUKRI is duel sharpened - near the handle, it is very sharp. Toward the tip, the grind is flat and angled to make chopping easier - more like an ax. A versatile machete made by Extrema Ratio with the Italian attention to detail and styling.
Black finish (Testudo) – a coating that is very protective against corrosion and oxidation.
