Extrema Ratio developed this knife to be a multi-purpose fixed blade that would withstand hard use in adverse conditions. This is the civilian version of the Fulcrum Bayonet, single edge and without the rifle attachment The Fulcrum family of knives has been well-tested and that includes the FULCRUM BAYONET NFG (no fixing gears). Great as a field knife and as a survival knife. This knife can take heavy loads without breaking. Versatile and more than adequate to meet its challenges. Tough.

BLADE: The blade has a serrated section. The FULCRUM BAYONET NFG can take loads up to approximately 150 kilograms (over 300 pounds) without breaking. Plus the tanto point is exceptionally strong with good penetrating capabilities. Serrations on the blade are excellent for cutting cords, rope, etc. Full tang. It has a double guard to protect your hand. Does not have the sharpened upper spine that is found on the military version. Well balanced with good weight distribution and a flattened spine section suitable for batoning.

SHEATH: The sheath for the FULCRUM BAYONET NFG is a heavy-duty sheath with adjustable straps to fasten around your leg for stability. The sheath has a retention system designed to hold your bayonet security and is MOLLE compatible.

HANDLE: The FULCRUM BAYONET NFG has a comfortable handle that is shock absorbing. The Forprene handle can be removed.

* The blade is made with N690 cobalt stainless steel,a Cobalt-enriched stainless steel from the Austrian Bohler steel company. This is a high performance steel with excellent cutting and sharpening characteristics. This steel is also used in the butchering industry and to make surgical instruments.

** The removable handle is Forprene. Forprene has extreme temperature and moisture resistance.
