The Extrema Ratio CONTACT C is a multi-purpose knife. It will serve you as an EDC as well as in the field. A tool in addition to being a weapon if needed. More compact than the standard size CONTACT. Can be extracted quickly from its sheath using a trigger like release. Both the knife and its sheath are designed to be as minimal as possible without sacrificing strength.

BLADE: This CONTACT C has a modified spearpoint, black blade. It has a threaded full length tang. To further decrease the weight without decreasing its strength there is a fuller on each side that extends almost to the end of the blade. Has a spur guard with a lanyard hole. Full tang ends with a pommel and a lanyard hole.

HANDLE: This CONTACT C has a black handle and it is ergonomically designed. Lightly textured Forprene. The handle is formed around the threaded tang in order to provide a sturdy, well-balanced knife.

SHEATH: The CONTACT C  sheath has been minimized as much as possible. The sheath where the knife rides, is made of a hard “injection molded, impact grade nylon” that is attached to a nylon textile section that has a two snap restraining loop. Especially designed to be lighter weight with a system to avoid blade rattle. Once a trigger like lever on the side is activated, the CONTACT C  is swiftly and effortlessly removed from its sheath. The black sheath is MOLLE compatible.

*The blade is made with N690 cobalt stainless steel; a high performance steel with excellent cutting and sharpening characteristics. This steel is also used in the butchering industry and to make surgical instruments.
