ABOUT THE ASFK: The Extrema Ratio ASFK Is immediately recognized as a contemporary design of the famous trench knife used in World War I and also in World War II. It was a general purpose knife used both for combat and for utility purposes. In World War II the trench knife was especially prized by the Italian Arditi* for close quarter combat and is now updated by Extrema Ratio using modern materials and production. This modern Italian interpretation of the Arditi trench knife has been designed for, and is currently used by, Italian Special Forces [ Comando Forze Speciali Esercito Italiano]. It is now available for collectors in the USA.

BLADE: The full tang extends past the end of the handle and forms a window breaker. Has lanyard hole near the window breaker. The ASFK blade and the finger guard are constructed in one piece. This creates a strong blade with a strong, protective finger guard. The traditional finger guard allows you extra control and gives you a strong grip. Beautifully designed blade.

HANDLE: Ergonomically designed. Made of Forprene with a “rubbery” texture that feels good in the hand. The ASFK has a distinctive handle design patterned after the original trench knife.

SHEATH: Belt sheath with removable leg strap attachment. Desert tan color. Heavy duty Cordura. MOLLE compatible.

COMMENTS: This is a contemporary version of the classic World War I and World War II trench knife. Not only was the trench knife used for combat but it was a general purpose utility knife too. For collectors who appreciate this classic knife and its history. Gets attention. Distinctive.
