ABOUT THE TASK J: The Extrema Ratio TASK J is a multipurpose fixed blade that was developed in conjunction with the Australian Jagdkommando unit. This very elite unit is an Australian Special Forces unit. These highly trained professionals encounter dangerous situations and this requires specialized weapons. This lead to the development of Extrema Ratio's TASK J.

BLADE: The TASK J has a clean black blade with no serrations. Extended tang forms a heavy lanyard hole on end of handle. Designed to handle various heavy duty tasks. Insignia on blade. Strong and sharp. Ready to go.

HANDLE: The TASK J handle has a desert finish. Substantial guards to protect your hands. Lanyard holes on each side of the guards. Lightly textured to insure that you have a good grip.

SHEATH: Outer reinforced nylon sheath with ABS interior. Has automatic retention system to hold your TASK J securely. Has a protective cover flap that you can remove. MOLLE compatible with a leg strap. A fire-lighting rod with an attached lanyard is included in a side pocket.

* The blade is made with N690 cobalt stainless steel; a high performance steel with excellent cutting and sharpening characteristics. This steel is also used in the butchering industry and to make surgical instruments.
